The Planning Forum has been formed in the year 1973. The aims and objectives. 'Of the forum are

(a) to conduct discussion, symposia and organise exhibitions on planning.
(b) to spread Plan Consciousness among people and the students.
(c) to undertake developmental activities in nearby villages.

There shall be an Executive Committee consisting of the following:

(a) The head of the Department of Economics shall be the Ex-officio Chairman 'of the Planning Forum. 
(b) Secretary - to be elected by the senior students. 
(c) Assistant Secretary - to be elected from among the students. The Principal shall be the final authority in all matters relating to the Planning Forum.
